"Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff and delicious restaurant!"

"Overall we had a very nice stay. It was centrally located between the places we needed to go and Uber was able to drop off and pick up easily. Online we understood a shuttle could take us within 3 miles, which was one reason we selected the hotel. But when we arrived, they explained it was an Uber service during limited hours to limited locations, so we couldn't benefit from it. Although we only used both amenities once, the pool hours are good (open until 10 pm) and they a have free glass of wine in the afternoon. The continental breakfast is the exact same daily, which is a good offering, but it would be nice to have some boiled eggs or some other light protein option as opposed to the large pay breakfasts. The rooms are a bit small and we would have preferred queen beds instead of doubles for a family of 3. But that's mainly due to the shape of the hotel, which limits the size of the spaces. We made it work. The only issue we ran into were some young women under the influence yelling in the halls at 4AM for 30 minutes who woke up everyone on ours and neighboring floors. The hotel said they would comp us something for the disturbance, but I don't know that we were or that the hotel was able to address the badly mannered guests in any way. Aside from a few challenges, we enjoyed our stay."

"The staff went above and beyond! They upgraded my son so that we could check in early when we arrived at the hotel around 2 pm. This was greatly appreciated as we had driven from San Diego and it meant a lot to us. We were able to get into a room and refresh before heading out to explore the city. Every detail about this hotel is perfection! We were touring UCLA the next day and the hotel is less than 5 minutes away. Having a delicious complementary breakfast in the morning made things so easy, I highly recommend this hotel! "

"The staff at Luxe is so friendly and helpful! We love this hotel and stay whenever we come to visit our grandsons! For the most recent stay, we unfortunately had to arrive late, but the staff was so helpful in keeping in touch with us until we arrived, and they greeted our arrival with open arms! We had a hectic day, so it was nice to be treated with such kindness at the end of this particular day! Originally, we thought we would be able to stay longer, but our plans changed, and the staff still treated us with such kindness! We usually enjoy a delicious breakfast during our stay, but sadly, we had to get up and leave for our next commitment! We regret having a short visit this time, but we look forward to our next visit!"

"Absolutely loved this hotel. I know it was renovated from what most likely was a motel before, but it does not matter. The rooms were super clean and you had everything you would need. The front desk receptionist (two separate people I have dealt with) were both great and friendly. The breakfast was amazing-nothing you would find at other hotels, especially the more "budget friendly" ones. Two breakfast items and a drink are included. You can add more items or upgrade a drink a pay a price, but it was not outrageous. The courtyard was very nice and a pleasure to sit at. Parking can be a little difficult, but definitely not something I would give less stars for. I honestly cannot say anything bad about this place and I am quite a bit picky coming from working in the hotel industry (Marriott) in the past. If we were to go back to LA, I definitely would stay here again."

"Parking fee of 38.50 is ridiculous! I made sure I checked the parking rate here before i booked. When I called, I was told it was $20 to park here so I went ahead and booked as I thought that amount was reasonable for Los Angeles rates for parking. The whole reason I’m staying here is my son is inpatient at Ucla Ronald Reagan Medical Center for some heart procedures. Money is not something I have a lot of and having to consider the price to Park is huge for me. I explained this to the clerk when I checked in that I was told it was $20 to Park and she could care less - the fact that her attitude about it was so nonchalant really bothered me. Busy on her phone as if I was interrupting her. Also, the room I was assigned to faced Olympic Boulevard and the noise coming from that street all night was absolutely awful. No rest. I will make sure not to stay here again."

"The venue was just absolutely breathtaking. The amenities they provided also just made the stay that much more enjoyable. The staff was very warm right from start, and throughout would always take the initiative to help out. This was the best experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend this place. "
