"For some reason, we were upgraded from a standard double to a suite with a four poster bed which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are not serviced if your stay is 3 nights or less but you can place rubbish, used towels and toiletries outside your door and they will be removed and replaced. There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening...

"The room was ideal. It was comfortable, had a bath and shower that were easy to operate. There was a generous supply of teas and coffee. The cosy lounges downstairs were lovely. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful with plenty of coffee/tea topups. All the staff were polite and attentive and easy to have a chat to. Overall, a memorable stay. "The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences."

There was a large choice at breakfast including pastries, toast, cereal and cooked items all served buffet style so something for everyone. We went out each day and evening so did not have lunch or evening meal at the hotel. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and it was lovely to see the rabbits outside the window each morning and running around the grounds throughout the day. We've stayed here before and are planning to come back and bring the dog next time."
