4.1/5 Very Good! (1,166 reviews)
Excellent location for visiting Edinburgh
"Hotel is in a great location. Very close to Haymarket train station - less than a 5 minute walk. A couple of minutes walk to tram stops for Edinburgh airport/Princes Street. An easy 15 minute stroll to Princes Street shops/bars. A number of small restaurants & bars around the hotel too."

"Hotel is dated but rooms are spacious and great views of harbour. Plenty of nice restaurants and pubs in walking distance. Beaches and plenty to do for a weekend break. Entertainment in hotel was good! All for a bargain price in August! Will definitely visit again."

4.6/5 Wonderful! (102 reviews)
"The lobby area has great spaces to lounge, read a book, or meet friends. The dining areas and food were excellent. My only gripe (small in nature) was that the shampoo was unusual in that it was in a tube and did not provide sufficient suds upon use."

4.5/5 Wonderful! (1,001 reviews)
"Great location near train station. Close to everything but in a slightly quieter area, which was nice. . Good size rooms. Comfortable beds. Only downside was one of two elevators out of service for entire stay. Made for slow waits getting to and from room."

"Outstanding except for my entire four day stay, only one elevator was working. Saw no repair person. Sometimes the wait for the elevator was LONG. My room was three floors up from the lobby. Steps going down were an option, not going up. "
