"Checking in was a bit tricky as the street was closed so we couldn't get to the front of the hotel by car. The staff figured it out for us and we did not have any problems again during our stay. Loved the quirky, historical building; great shower with endless hot water, deep soaker tub ( with jets); comfy queen bed. Would have preferred a king size, but the queen was still comfy w/nice bedding and pillows. I will stay here again! The location was incredible - just walk out the front door into the action on government street - pubs, restaurants, stores, etc. Perfect, perfect location. "
