"A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. "

Not only was the place beautiful, but the family running it were amazing, very welcoming and accommodating! We so wish that could've stayed longer... This was the best part of our trip. "The property itself was beautiful and we really loved using the pools. They were gorgeous. My only complaint was that the bathroom is so small and everything is squished together. The bidet basically touches your knees while you’re sitting on the toilet."

Déjà des moisissures aux niveau des joints du carrelage de la douche italienne. À ce prix là j’attendais vraiment mieux. Mettre une bouilloire dans la chambre sans adaptateur de prise italienne c’est une blague ? Par contre personnel très agréable. "

"HU was great. Florence is a beautiful but it is a zoo. It was nice to stay at HU away from the crowds. We drove from Sienna and were able to check in early. Our cabin was lovely. The pizza at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Italy. The 14 bus (14A on the ride back) was only a 20 min. ride. My kids loved the pools way more than the Uffizi. Wish we had more time to lounge by the pools. It was nice to see how Europeans vacation."

The sister hotel where the Meze bar was amazing (Great Service from Bruno and the crew) and the Angel Rooftop restaurant was outstanding.
