Best thing about this property was the location. Right by the train station and everything is so accessible. Loved the roof top bar. Room was a little smaller than most, but comfortable and clean. And a free bottle of wine to welcome us!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The location could not be more central to the major sights of Bologna. The property is extremely well maintained and appointed. The staff is very helpful and attentive. I would certainly recommend the property. For the drawbacks. Driving to and from the hotel is somewhat of a challenge, but the hotel makes it as easy as possible to navigate. The portico and street just outside the original main entrance needs to be cleaned and maintained.

Kudos!!! to the manager Antonio Remaschi My stay at the Baglioni was a very pleasant one ! I have to put this on record, the best shower pressure ever :-) truly a treat. I didn’t have a great start during my stay with some confusion regarding drinking water and a staff member ( a lady ) on the 5th floor reception sounding rude and almost dismissive of my concern. Hopefully this is looked into. However the floor manager was kind and resolved my issue. The breakfast was lavish and delightful! The complimentary wine was a special touch. I will definitely be coming back here !

Great location across from the train station and easily walkable to the Duomo, restaurants, cafe’s, shopping, etc. I have stayed here three or four times and the staff are wonderful and I see the same staff year after year which says a lot. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed and includes Prosecco because when in Italy you must start your day with Prosecco! And end your day on the hotel’s Rooftop Bar! One thing, the hotel and rooms have character and are beautiful but not spacious so if you have mobility issues, you may need a more modern hotel with more open space but if you don’t mind a few steps and smaller space, don’t miss the Baglioni experience!

Beautiful property with elegant rooms. Rooftop restaurant is lovely with an attentive staff. The outdoor area was not open for full service due to the time of year, but looked very nice for a visit in the warmer seasons. If coming in on the train as we did - you can't beat the location - convenient to all the sites of Florence.
