Hotel Continentale has a rooftop patio that affords the most stunning views of the surrounding town; sunset here is unparalleled! I chose to stay here for a 2nd year after a wonderful visit the 1st time. This time, I came 4 days early to explore Arezzo. The staff could not be more helpful in pointing you in the right direction for anything you might need to find. Wonderful place, wonderful staff.

Great location, we could walk everywhere. Close to great eating options and a short stroll to the central market. The staff were very helpful. Our room had a beautiful balcony and was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child for an overnight stay.

The property staff was very accommodating. They allowed us to put our luggage in the room prior to our check in time, which made it very convenient. The walk from the train station is very easy and felt safe all around.

Perfect base for visiting Florence

Great little hotel in a perfect location. 5 minute walk from the train station right in the centre of Florence. Small room but spotlessly clean and a great bed . Perfect for a visit to Florence especially if a short trip like ours as you are literally near to everything. Lovely helpful staff and we were able to leave our luggage on check out until later in the day.

Just Good Hotel

Good Hotel, right next to the main Train Station and tram that takes you directly from the airport to the train station visa versa. Hotel was a bit hard to find from the front but on the building you will see a plaque saying hotel Brooklyn, just climb those stairs and through the double door, it will be on the 2nd floor (elevator or climbing for faster). Room was good with fridge however, the bathroom needs some renovations and plus the lo-flo toilets are no go for tourists/hotel guest.

Outside building was dirty, not much to look at. But the room was lovely, clean, air con, comfy bed, modern bathroom, a bit spacious for 2 ppl. Has lift to go up, easy access for suitcases. Big window can still be open for fresh air. A bit of walk from train station, we dont mind but at night still lots of people, some were sketchy but just walk fast and they dont bother us (still safer than Rome termini). Love the hotel, will stay again.

The hotel is conveniently located to the train station and attractions. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Though our room seemed like it was still being worked on or fixed. Passing by the corridor there appear to be rooms that were better prepared. Also, it was difficult to sleep some nights due to noise outside in the area and hearing a shower running from another room. Overall, it was an average experience.

Value hotel in Florence.

A very short walk from the train station and you arrive at the Hotel Lombardi. First off I loved the old style cage elevator. Very nostalgic. There are 5 steps up to the entrance but after that the elevator "whisks" you to the first floor and the hotel. Check in was very easy and the room was very close to the front desk. The owner is very friendly and and gave us a map with many landmarks marked off for us to see. Room was very comfortable with a nice bed and fridge. Bathroom was a bit small but the shower had very hot water and plenty of pressure. There is shopping just down the street and lots of restaurants close by. OK. Just down the street towards the shopping and restaurant area is a row of trash bins by the street. This can get a bit messy but just ignore it as you walk by and you will be in the restaurant area with any type of cuisine you desire. The Hotel Lombardi is a good value for your hard earned money. Enjoy your stay there.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Aside from it's just few steps from train station, it is also close to restaurants, grocery stores and walkable to some of tourist spots. Spent 1 night here with the plan of going to Pisa the following day. The staff are very friendly and were apologetic for the room type (instead of double bed but provided 2 twin beds) but ended up in a double/ Queen-sized bed. Room is clean, spacious and a comfy matress. Bathroom is spotless. Overall, a decent place to stay in Florence, close to Santa Novella train station.
