Must go up and down to leave key at 4th floor lobby each time you come and go(rooms on fl 1) it did not bother us, but no real shower. Shower head on wall next to toilet. Very small space if you need room. Good location. Very no thrills but everything needed. Think more hostel than hotel.

The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building. There're areas in the room show mold and stains. The bathroom has no separate area for shower so it's a bit inconvenient to keep things dry clothes. Staff are sincere and diligent though.

This is a great property if you are okay with an amazing location, barely away from the hustle, but close enough to walk to everything. It's basic with the smallest bathroom I've ever experienced. If I were larger than 5'10", not sure it would've worked. The shower was inches away from the toilet (!). But again, great location. Cool balcony and solarium. Surprisingly good breakfast And really good service. If you're wanting an amazing location and okay without a large fancy room, I can't recommend this enough

There is a nice view since rooms and breakfast are at 4th and 5th floor. we were allowed to have breakfast very early because of our early departure. Worst thing was about the shower in the bathroom: it had no curtain at all, but most of all, there was very little water coming out

The rooftop patio was a lovely feature, room was clean, breakfast was good, excellent location. A little quirky, office is on 4th floor, but our room was on the 1st floor. Ever time you left the hotel, you had to leave the room key. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything you need for a stay in Florence

Nice simple hotel in heart of the City only a few minutes from main attractions and within easy walk of railway station. Rooms are warm clean and simple and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is very good too

Perfect location and great hotel I stayed for seven nights at Hotel Bodoni (Florence) in February 2025. Perfect location, close to everything. The Central train station and the old town were 10-20 minutes to walk. They offer a good continental breakfast! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating.

An older but nice property within walking distance of good restaurants and all the sites and attractions in Florence. Great breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. While the bathroom was adequate (just!), it was clearly an add-on from the days when there was a shared bathroom down the hall.
