The shower pressure was weak and the water, even on level 3 and maximum temperature, was only lukewarm to cold. Very minimal amenities for a hotel, such as toothpaste and extra blankets."

"A genuinely excellent place to eat, drink, and sleep. We stayed in one of their premium rooms and it was fantastic - so well appointed. The staff are great, the food is tasty, and the room was one we'd happily spend hours enjoying. Honestly couldn't fault a thing."

"The hotel itself was clean and warm and pleasant. The bedroom we had was not one of the modern, grey painted spacious ones as advertised on the site. In fact it was in the basement but still clean and adequate. Free parking for residents and a lovely Continental breakfast. The staff member we saw most was very kind and helpful. A great but brief stay."

"A very nice clean hotel , with very polite, professional and hardworking staff that work as a team. Great choice for the buffet breakfast to which is very good,also there as some lovely reasonably priced dishes you choose via Marriott website. Parking very convenient as you are in town centre location. Public transport shops,bars and restaurants can be accessed within 5 mins walk. Good pub with very good menu across the road, and the hotel gym with all the essential equipment for a decent workout. When I researched the area, I couldn't find better hotel for the price with these facilities , parking, town centre, gym, bars and restaurants shopping centre, public transport, hotel bar and restaurant. If anyone has found a better place, please let me know."

"The staff were very friendly, helpful and communicated well. As i was arriving later, they left my key in a lock box, with full instructions - they phoned and followed up by text. The hotel was very quiet and close to lots of lovely cafes, eateries and convenience stores. I Would definitely stay again. Parking is available opposite for 1.70 overnight until 8am."
