The accommodation is spacious and tastefully decorated. There are nice little extras in your room. The restaurant and bar area looks out over the grounds or sit outside if you like. The chefs plate degustation is very enjoyable. The wine list is quite extensive and well chosen. This is really a wonderful place to stay. "

"We had a great time at The Mac Shak. The house is really well appointed, with lots of helpful information for guests, plus games, dvds, books. The garden is completely enclosed and safe for dogs, our pup loved sniffing around and exploring, and our kids loved toasting marshmallows around the fire. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning, looking out at the trees and listening to the birds. It's a charming little place with lots of character. We would stay here again if we're in the area."

"We had a really great stay. The coastal view is absolutely stunning and was one of our favourite things about the house. The house itself is spacious, which worked perfectly for our larger family, and the decor is tasteful without feeling overdone. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were big — which made getting everyone ready in the mornings much easier. Overall, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay in a beautiful spot."
