Lovely stay at this hotel! Loved the location, super close to the beach and all the beautiful scenery of Newport. Had a lovely view from my room balcony and it was clean and comfortable. I stayed when renovations were happening so that’s the only reason I haven’t given full stars as you could see the building work taking place and there was a bit of building work noise going on. Other than that it was an amazing stay and would stay again :)

The Mirage location is great and the area is very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was well furnished, fairly spacious and very clean.

We arrived at the hotel at 8pm, where there was no one on the reception desk and had to wait 20 mins until someone finally emerged, there was no water in the room/fridge and no milk for coffee or tea. We’d hoped to hang by the pool the next morning however the pool was filthy and green so we decided to head to the beach instead. The person in the room next to us kept slamming their door shut. No breakfast facility as the hotel is undergoing renovations however the cafe across the road was great and portions sizes were decent. Only positive about the hotel is that the lady at the front desk was friendly and polite and the bed was comfy.

The hotel is undergoing a well overdue renovation and our room was mostly finished. There was one area that was roughly boarded off. No problems with that. But unfortunately the craftsmanship of the persons responsible for the work left a lot to be desired. There is little point in renovating if you don't do it properly. Such a shame as the property has so much potential. Other than that our stay was pleasant enough with a large room, comfortable bed and courteous staff.

Lovely view of inlet and marinas from window. Walk to RPAYC. Not a lot of dining options locally, but Newport beach in walking distance (or bus).

The hotel was in a good location with it being close to local shops and the beach. We were in the northern beaches for a wedding and transport was easy to access. The hotel was nice and clean although parking in the actual hotel is very tight. The front desk staff could be a bit warmer in their hospitality but overall the stay was pleasant.

The property was in full construction mode with noise and dust consistent with construction. It really didn't matter to us since we were only sleeping there, and the noise was during business hours when we weren't there much. It is winter there, and low season, so not surprised that they chose this time of year for work. Personnel there were very friendly and helpful, and we did not complain or ask for any discounts. I guess it's because I work construction too and understand the limitations.

Room was spacious with a lovely outlook over the river/Marina and very clean. Perfectly acceptable pump pack shampoo etc in the bathroom. Really nice pool which looks out over the river. For the price it was great! There was also free undercover parking, decent free wifi and very friendly, helpful people on reception. I’d definitely stay again if I needed to be in this particular neighbourhood.

Great one nighter

Just a 1 night stay, catching up with friends over the Easter period. Great location, lovely view, pool was fantastic. Comfy beds basic rooms but everything was clean, comfortable and fresh. The building is just a little worn out. But for a 1 nighter it was perfect.

Our 2 night stay was quite good however property has Hugh potential for update and is really needed .. it was a very convenient location for us.. on site parking was very difficult with tight spots.. staff were extremely accommodating and very helpful. Price was great for our lovely view although a balcony would have been fabulous

Some parts of the room needed attending. Stains on the lounge, TV needs upgrading, spa had a crack on the side. Shower head leaking. Staff were nice. Parking was ok. Within walking distance to coffee shop and Bar restaurant. All together a nice place to stay and will be coming back.

Filthy! With a million dollar view.

The walls of the room were filthy and covered with thick layers of dust. When you turns the bedside tables on, the light highlighted the absolutely terrible dust. Great location, great view, but budget dirty accomodation.

The staff were very professional. They were each exceptional. The room was comfortable but there is mold on the ceiling above the entrance and above frig cabinet. The parking garage is a nightmare.
