If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19  you'll notice a range of new regulations and rules in place. Take note of these tips and make your escape to Kuvango a smooth one:

• Before booking your flight, check if any travel restrictions or bans apply — in both your destination and origin. Keep informed with the latest updates by reviewing government and airport websites.
• Requirements state that you must wear a face mask throughout your travel experience, including at screening checkpoints. Be ready to adjust your mask for ID verification when asked by a TSA officer.
• You're no longer required to hand your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA officer. Rather, position your pass on the scanner and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your hand luggage. This will need to be taken out for screening.
• Place any personal items (phone, wallet and keys) in your carry-on instead of a bin to minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're taking food through the security checkpoint, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your food container or carry-on bag for inspection.
