"The Westin is right on probably the best beach on the island. Both pools are large with the family pool being great for lap swimming or exercising. We very much enjoyed the resort and spent most of our one week vacation on the property relaxing. "

"Wow! Just wow! This property is amazing! The pictures do not begin to show the beauty of the view from this house! The grounds are meticulously kept! The fruit trees and plants, we had planned on going back to the botanical gardens outside of Hilo but there was no need, everything was growing right there! Is the House a little dated yes and I was a little uncomfortable with no coverings on the windows but there truly is no one else around. The house was super clean and the AC kept it cool which is what my biggest issue in booking was! The Host Cemille and Derrick are absolutely amazing! Fresh fruit every time we saw them! So nice and helpful! We hope to be back very soon! "

The design of the house harkens to a bygone time with genuine authenticity and yet there is a timeless quality to the design that never makes it feel dated or no longer relevant. So many spaces for family and friends to spread out and enjoy but also so many thoughtful touches that make the home feel intimate and comfortable. "The studio apartment was a charming place conveniently located close to many amenities (cafes, groceries, restaurants, etcetera). The staff was very friendly and eager to help. Waimea was our base to explore other areas such as Pololu valley, Hawi and others. The manager was very helpful in providing local information of good restaurants around all the multiple areas we visited. It was always good to have an insiders' point of view. Thank you!"
