"This is a Japanese hotel, in an area with a lot of Japanese and Korean restaurants and shops. The area is quite different to the old town - very few tourists but pretty nice.
The hotel itself was a basic clean Japanese style. Good room and bathroom. Staff really only speak very basic English but are nice. "

"We stayed 2 nights when we arrived in Hanoi and then another night when we returned from Sapa. They held our suitcases for us. The hotel is ideally located in the old quarter. Our Balcony room was spacious and very well equipped. The staff is very dedicated and attentive. The breakfast is great, everything is there, even homemade yogurts. Recommend Royal Palace without hesitation. Thank you all for your welcome and your kindness.

"I view this hotel as a Beautiful Boutique Hotel that is in a wonderful location. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again!!! They are in the process of making some renovations, that are only going to enhance my future visits!!!! I checked in late, which was handled well. I like everything about this hotel, but the thing I like the most is the STAFF - everyone always willing to help and they do it with a SMILE!!!!! I will be returning to this hotel in a couple weeks before I return to America. This is a hidden GEM!!!!!"
"Hotel was great! Oasis in the middle of a very bustling, crazy and tough city! Room was great, pool was good. But all in the city so everything was a bit small (I'm 6"4 and was with my family...maybe we were too big : )... Really liked Sophie, she saw to all of our needs, but all of the staff were great and keen to help!"
