"Such a beautiful, peaceful & perfecly located hotel, Great staff, wonderful dining, unique pool & a step to the beach. Our room looked over the beach, comfy bed, great little kitchenette. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway to Port Douglas ❤️ We’ll be back "
"This was one of the best properties that I have stayed at. Pool was lovely, clean tidy apartment really well maintained and operated property. Helpful reception team. Room was comfortable, clean, well set up. Parking was easy and secure under the building. Right in the centre of town walking distance to all amenities and the beach. My only tiny negative was the road noise. Port Douglas is a great place to stay and this property is a great place to have a relaxing holiday."
"A wonderful stay as always the Sea temple never fails to impress and is a little slice of Paradise . If you can go for the Room with the hot tub on the roof it is well worth the extra money . Staff on reception were wonderfully helpful . Proximity to the blissful beach and beach shack restaurant is great too This is our fourth stay and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon!"

"Absolute bliss is right! We had a heavenly stay here—the house was spacious enough for all of us to stay together without feeling like we were crowded, but still felt cozy. We all loved the relaxed, calm vibe of the house and the location—exactly what we had hoped for.Newell is a perfect base for SO many adventures nearby. We got to see and do so much every day, and still had time to relax on the gorgeous back porch and in the lovely pool. The property itself feels very private, but has a nice grocery store minutes away by car, and a delicious takeaway minutes away by foot! Annie and Stuart were great communicators and made us feel right at home with all the amenities—a kitchen well stocked with tools, a laundry room, and even books, toys, and games for quieter moments. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Queensland!"
"Very pretty property in a very secluded beautiful wooded location. The owner is an extremely nice person that has gone through recent tragedy in life and all support is appreciated. The property has a hippy vibe. It is not far from the town of Port Douglas but will be a 15 minute drive.
The owner has two Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers) that are extremely friendly, beautiful, and very intetilligent. They are quite fun to play with."
"This is a magical place nestled near the entrance to the Daintree Forest. My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains.
The wine and cocktail tastings every evenings are a great way to wind down the day, the meals were simply sumptuous - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had so much good food!
The guest houses the property maintains are also lovely, with sleek modern bathrooms, ample space, and short walks back to reception or the mossmann river.
This is a beatiful spot to rest and relax in - staff were consistently fantastic, lovely, and friendly. They take very good care of the place and it shows.
Lastly, while the property maintains a free guest laundry, I suggest you use the service instead. The guest use clothes dryers on the property are not really performant. "
