"Garden is beautiful and I like their breakfast"
There are a lot of flower trees in their garden. Also the pool and the private beach are amazing. Breakfast was buffet. They have both Vietnamese foods and western foods and they were delicious. I'd like to stay there when I visit Hoi-an again.

This is quite a stunning hotel! The porters and door staff are amazing! Some remembered your names. The staff at the pool resturant not so good. The spa staff were very hard to understand which made it hard to make bookings. The resturants are quite expensive for what you get and the cocktails are not good. The food in town alot lower in price and of much the same quality. Breakfast was good and busy but the resturants not busy at all. If they lowered the prices a little they would have more guests eat in as their resturants which looked lovely though lacking in atmosphere for the 1 night we ate in. 15% on top of everything for service charges was extreme. The rooms were lovely and the house keepers fantastic. The out side pool and beach areas were beautiful and relaxing. Do not use the ATM in hotel as the fees are the highest and the max amount available was the lowest in Hoi An.

"Fabulous hotel in excellent location! "
We've just spent a fabulous week at the Anantara. the staff were superb from my first email to checking-in, all though our stay and then on checking out a few days ago. Couldn't have been more helpful and eager to assist in any way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. We were upgraded to a lovely very large room on the ground floor, where we walked out on the river. So peaceful and relaxing and even though the hotel appeared to be full at the weekends, it didn't seem like it. Our room was lovely, with a large and extremely comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom, well kitted out with supplies. Breakfasts were held upstairs overlooking the river, a fantastic choice of everything you could wish for including lots of lovely juices, carrot, cucumber, etc besides my all-time favourite water-melon. We only ate twice at the hotel in the evening as there are so many excellent restaurants in the town, but each time was very impressed by the quality of food available. Loved the buffet which coincidentally was on our anniversary. Wonderful setting by the river with fabulous food, a fantastic evening. The pool area was well maintained with beds all around mostly in the shade, they also had huge bean bag cushions on the grassy area to relax on, for those who wanted to lie in the sun for a while. The pool was quite warm, my only adverse comment maybe it could have done with being a few degrees cooler in these temps, but that wouldn't stop us staying there again - we'll be back!

"Would stay again in a heart beat"
I am the type of person who wants to stay in the best place for the best price. I did a lot of research. I booked for 3 days initially but added another two days quickly. Loved this hotel. It's about 7-10 minute walk to old town. One block from a fabulous nightly market. The grounds are lush with vegetation. My room was huge. I seriously think I could have lived in that room long term. I was sad that there was only a stand up shower in my room, but only because I live without a bath tub and love having one on holiday. The bed was huge... basically it was two super singles pushed together... but it was massive. The pillows were only okay, but everything else was fabulous. The The highlights were the little extras. The towels in the shape of animals, or the message spelt out in paper on my bed or the rose pedals. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots to choose from. The hotel also do a sampling of local street food from free from 4 to 5 each night. There is a free boat that takes you to town several times a day and a lovely sunset boat ride ... all free! The gym was good, but for those not used to the hot weather, I should warn that their is no air con in the gym. This was okay because of cross ventilation and fans. The hotel staff go out of their way to help you. I misplaced my cordless headphones by the pool one night and was gutted. The hotel staff found them the next day and brought them to me. The pool is lovely and there is even a swim up bar. This is the place to stay in Hoi An.

Hoi An Beach Resort - Hoi An Hotels

Hoi An Beach Resort

"Excellent hotel away from the hustle and bustle"
This hotel is located on Cua Dai beach which is a bit of a distance from the center of Hoi An. We hired a scooter from Quang at Easy Rider to get into town in around 10 minutes. Perfect for numerous journeys to the tailors for fittings and general sightseeing. There is also a shuttle bus. The hotel is made up of small villas which lead to their own garden although beware some are near the fairly busy beach road. They are very well appointed and comfortable with good bathrooms. There are two pools, one kidney shaped and the other infinity style next to the dining room. Both of the latter look over the river which is beautiful, especially at night when they light lanterns. We booked an amazing deal with Expedia with 45% off and two 30 minute spa treatments per day. These were heavenly. If you go to Hoi An and don't want to stay right in town this place is a must!
