The only amenity was the onsen bath, which had separate facilities for men and women, so we couldn’t enjoy it together as a family. "We booked the ryokan with private onsen. It was worth every penny. We got the dinner and Japanese breakfast and was an amazing experience. The give you a yukata slippers and even socks to use. In from of the beautiful building is a garden. Also behind the museum in the corner a beautiful Japanese authentic restaurant, it was just beautiful. It was easy to catch the buses once we figured out which one to take. The outdoor private onsen has the shower next to it and it is also outdoors. The bathroom, toilet is inside. We just loved our stay there. For our second night we opted for the buffet in a sister hotel nearby but we should have stayed for the authentic Japanese dinner for the second time even though it is the same as the previous night. The room was quiet and peaceful. The staff very attentive."
