Staff were so kind and helpful. Whilst like room was small it was well planned and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and so nice eating on our own little terrace, garden was very pretty. Coffee and snacks left out for you to help yourself which was great when you get back from a long day sightseeing. Would definitely visit again 😊

wonderful time in this location. Our room was opening to a beautiful and peaceful garden. The place was very quiet. The breakfast was very generously prepared. The host was very nice and helpful. Highly recommend this place if you come with your little family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone seeking a short-term accommodation. The breakfast was delightful, and the garden added to the serene atmosphere. However, the only drawback was the lack of communication regarding check-in instructions. Arriving after 3 PM without receiving any email left me locked out for about an hour. Unfortunately, I couldn't contact them due to not having a SIM card. It's essential to ensure all guests have access to necessary information, as not everyone may have the means to call for assistance

This property is a real gem . Excellent value. A little away from the centre but still walkable. Joan was excellent as hostess. Made me feel right at home. Offered a lot of useful tourist advice. Breakfast buffet healthy and filling. Highly recommended 5/5

スタッフの対応は英語が苦手な私にとっても非常に親切で分かりやすい説明でした。私は螺旋階段を上がった所の部屋でしたがエアコン、冷蔵庫付きで暑い日だったので大変助かりました。部屋、シャワールームも清潔感がありこの価格では中々ない巡り会えない大当たりの宿でした。またフィレンツェに行く事があれば利用したいと思います。

This was our first visit to Italy. Joan, our Fonderia Firenze host, went out of her way to answer our questions and address our needs. Well versed in English and constantly displayed her gift of hospitality. The bed and breakfast is not in the center of Florence but is walkable to sites, restaurants and shopping. If we chose not to walk, Joan would call a taxi service regardless of hour. Beautiful garden which allowed us to take an afternoon break and enjoy a glass of wine. Rooms are well maintained, clean and provide garden view or street view. Joan offers a wonderful breakfast which you can enjoy inside the house or you could sit in the garden. We traveled to and from Florence and when our rooms were not ready we were allowed to leave our luggage on-site and see the Florence sites early before the crowds. One less worry. Very pleased and we will be back. Thank you Joan for making our trip to Italy enjoyable!

The room was great especially as we had a private terraces. Breakfast was excellent and we appreciated having access to snacks and beverages during the day. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The B&B is in a quiet area and about 30 minutes walking to main attractions and a shorter 10 -15 minute walk to the cafes and shops on the B&B side of the Arno River. Check in was a little confusing; make sure that you are emailed the code for the door prior to arriving. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here!

Nice people and lovely place. The host was very helpful and we could get something to drink or grab a bite at any time of the day. There was always food on the table. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no bidet in the bathroom.

Great choice
The place is lovely. Very clean and comfortable only 10 min walk from train station and a nice walk Along the river to the main sites. Check in was easy and there is tea, coffee and snacks available all the time. So nice to have coffee and a piece of tart after a tough day being a tourist! Breakfast was perfect and the staff make you feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Sweet and lovely small boutique hotel
This small boutique hotel was lovely! It was in a location walkable to the attractions. Our room was quite small, but well appointed. It was VERY hot - the weather was in the 80s, and the hotel had already turned off the AC so sleeping wasn't comfortable, and we couldn't open the windows or enjoy the cute backyard because it was swarming with mosquitos. It was a wonderful stay, but bring repellent and look at the weather forecast.

Cute apartment in the quiet neighborhood but little bit a longer walk from Ponte Vecchio than I expected. Joanna was really helpful and gave us a great suggestion for sightseeing. She recommended to take bus 12 and get to Plaza Michelangelo. From there you can enjoy absolutely breathtaking views of Florence!

My favorite stay in Florence
It felt like a great quality boutique hotel. My room had a comfortable big bed and pleasant modern bathroom. Plus it had a small nice terrace and window with street view. Breakfast was lovely. Kitchen area and garden were also beautiful. Staff was extremely kind. Great quality stay for reasonable price. Highly recommended!

The highlight of my trip in Italy
There are only 5 rooms in this gorgeous little boutique hotel on the quiet side of Florence. Mine was a beautiful big room that opened out onto the garden. Beautiful bed linen, proper pillows, gorgeous decor that’s unpretentious. Snacks were in the lobby when I arrived, haggard, from a gruelling days travel. That just made up for everything. Breakfast is in a lovely little atrium and is the usual fresh continental breakfast with fresh coffee. I loved it so much I really didn’t want to leave. I would have happily stayed reading my book.

Enjoyed the stay
I don't usually leave a review, just don't bother. But I am here to say thank you to Joanna, the lady who works there doing the reception/cleaning/cooking etc. She works hard and helps without hesitations when she is needed. I especially enjoy her humming while she is working. Moreover, the location and everything in the house are nice too, although I was arranged to an attic(single room) and got my head bumped a few times somewhere. I hope that you get a pay rise soon, Joanna:)

The place is so beautiful and charming. Modern stylish decor that really brought you in. Kitchen was so convenient with little snacks to enjoy Througout the day. The property is beautiful and only about a 20minute walk from the Firenze S.M. train station (which isn't too bad depending on your luggage). The woman who is at the b&b in the morning I wonderful, she is very friendly and has great advice about what to see in Florence. For Americans stying here, this is a bed and breakfast and you will need an access code to get in for the first time. I would make sure you contact the b&b before hand about how to check in and make sure you have a phone that works/can call in Italy. I had the single/twin bed room up stairs. It is not a bad room, it is just a little small and has a slanted ceiling, so if you are y'all you may want to consider one of their other rooms. The bathroom for the single room upstairs is separate and directly across the landing from the room. Aside from having a little trouble checking in, I really enjoyed my stay here. The building and amenities are excellent, the indoor and outdoor sitting areas are beautiful.

Room in an attic!
I was given a room on the top floor which was basically a room in the attic! I was shocked. I'm only about 5 ft 5 inches tall and bumped my head several times on the very low ceiling! I was shocked to find that a hotel could place clientele in an attic. This was never made clear in the booking of the photos or description of the hotel. This upper room should never be let out to any guests. The other rooms on the lower floor are much larger and standard sized. The Filipino lady Joan who manages the hotel is very pleasant and a kind host which made up alittle for the unpleasant stay I had. Thankfully I was there only overnight as I had to move out of the other apartment i had booked on the other side of the Arno river closer to the city centre. That apartment was huge and spacious with a kitchen etc. So to come to this room which was basically an attic converted to a room was a total shock.
