We will be back next year and definitely will be says at Hotel Giglio! Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance or the tram stop is maybe 100ft away. Lots of places to eat.

Stayed for 5 nights in May 2024 and had a wonderful time. The property owners are very kind and helpful. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean, the shower was terrific. Very easy to walk everywhere from here and at night it is very quiet. Always felt very safe and welcome at the Hotel. I highly recommend Hotel Giglio for a positive Florence experience.

Friendly and helpful owners who explained exactly where and when to go see the sights. Only a 20min saunter into the centre of Florence with air conditioning and a yummy breakfast! Only thing to note is not suitable for those that struggle with stairs as on the second floor.

Our hosts at this hotel made this three day stay wonderful! You couldn't ask for better. Whatever the request, question or need - they attempted to fulfill. If you are looking for modern, don't bother. If you are looking for historical, this is it! You get a great night's sleep in a quiet part of the city, (even though it is within walking distance of everything) you are fed well in the morning, and greeted with a smile and genuine interest in your day when you return. If we have a chance to return to Italy, this will be one of our stops.

AAA Excellent property, the location was convenient to the tourist area without it being in the middle, an easy 2-3 block walk. The hotel staff were top notch, helpful, gracious and excited to share their city with us. The breakfast buffet was amazing with something for everyone.

Located in a quiet area but walkable to the Duomo, shopping and restaurants. Very secure, wonderful hosts, nice breakfast, spacious rooms, clean, 2nd floor walk up but there is an elevator.
