"Our second time staying at the Cumberland almost 10 years later. The property was clean, had been updated, and had plenty of family amenities to enjoy. You can’t beat the location for beach, shopping, restaurant and walking access. Convenient secure parking and accessible ramp and lift access too."

"Property very old and not maintained as an advertised 4 star property should be. It is an average 3 star property. Room ok - hallways, lift and common areas dirty. Breakfast was good and staff helpful."

"I LOVE this place, and come here often for some me time. A stone’s throw from the beach, amazing restaurant (with happy hour every day), heated indoor pool, wellness centre on site for a luscious massage, and lots more. Beautiful resort style. Can’t recommend highly enough. "

"We stayed in a seaside cabin. We have stayed in cabins all over Australia. This was the most expensive yet! Cabin requires a lot of work. Drain in bathroom floor quite exposed. Broken tiles. Couldn't close screen doors properly due to erosion from sea air. No chopping board provided. Rail on bunk very wonky. Kitchen cupboards awkward access. Shower door dangerous when trying to bath children. Location fantastic and views amazing, however state of cabin, for the fees charged needs reviewing."

"I liked that we could get a room at 8.30 pm. Very tricky reception Chinese gentleman using translator app on phone. To communicate. On arrival at room kitchen floor area was wet. All plugs removed from sockets. No electricity blankets. Plus the sheets felt damp. Ended up sleeping on top of bed. They do need to lift the standard. But for 85 dollars- can’t expect much."

"My wife and I booked a Deluxe King room but were disappointed with the facilities provided with the room. The external pool was closed. No information was provided in room regarding facilities available. Basic tea and coffee making facilities but nothing extra, like a biscuit! Some information on local facilities etc would have been appreciated. More effort was put into inviting us to a opportunities evening than providing facilities etc in a room that was extremely overpriced when compared to other places we have stayed at in recent times."
