"Banksia Haven is an absolutely beautiful spot. The inlet, lighthouse and ocean view is lovely, as are the bush views out the other windows. The house is comfortable and well provided for. We loved the beautiful oil paintings of ocean and sky throughout. Beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is great. We enjoyed the birdlife and fabulous deck. It was such a great spot to stay with young children too.The only non enjoyable part of our stay was the property management company, Great Ocean Road...

"The ocean view was outstanding, access to an adjoining residences deck provide 180degree views. The property itself was filthy, the crockery and glassware was putrid-I resorted to buying my own to refrain from having to use it, the couch was so putrid I couldn’t sit on it, bedding was stained and the buttons on the bottom were missing which meant the doona fell out, the floors were visibly dirty, left over cardimone spice in the pantry resulted in the entire cottage stinking like Indian spice...
