"The Drey Hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in since using Expedia to book my travel. This was my first time traveling outside the country to London, UK, and my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the concierge informed me that the room I booked online was not the room I would be staying in. They said it was only a “category” room and that I would receive something similar. However, the room they gave me was far from what I had booked. I was later told that the room I reserved had been given to someone who arrived earlier than I did. I explained that I had traveled from the United States and that the time difference made my arrival later. They told me that I would receive the correct room the next day and that the manager would upgrade me in the morning. Unfortunately, no one ever came to follow up. When I went to the front desk to speak with the manager, he told me that he would not be changing my room and that the bunk beds I was given would be sufficient. His response was rude and arrogant. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for the remaining two days of my stay. Overall, the experience was a nightmare. I would like to request a refund due to the poor service and unacceptable conditions. This is my first time writing a review, but I feel it is important to be honest so that others do not experience the same treatment that I did."

"Stayed 1 night for Theatre visit. Our Room although very small was clean with very comfortable beds, modern decor, Bathroom clean very smart excellent showerwith hot water. Breakfast was good with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, plus full English, all was self serviceexcept Tea and Coffee brought to you. The road is quiet, sometime in London there is noise all night, deliveries, sirens etc but not here. Staff helpfull, stored luggage as arrived early as went straight out. Timed the walk to Paddington Station, 3 minutes andl am elderly! After booking read some bad reviews but we were very happy for the price we paid. "

"Reception was difficult to find as sign outside pointed towards lifts where only one worked and was very busy/slow. Room was nice but was felt thin so heard lots of noise especially early hours of morning. "
