"As a returning customer to this hotel for over 15 years, I am so disappointed with my most recent stay last week. The hotel has recently been bought by another company and there have been big changes from what I have seen. Check in was a bit of a disaster mainly because of a system problem which I wouldn't have minded the wait except they didn't communicate anything to us as we tried to do the self check in. The rooms have been changed and what use to be a spacious enough room now has this extra bulky furniture added in and it makes things very tight for moving about. My stay was for 3 nights and not once did anyone come to clean or change towels or give toilet roll. I had to go down to reception and queue every time I needed anything like towels as did all the other guests. It was a bit ridiculous having to queue for these things along with other guests who were queuing to check in. I do feel sorry for the staff that are there (and there's not that many of them) as they were getting most of the guests annoyance. The have gotten rid of the tea/coffee making facilities in the room and this is now stated on their website. It definitely wasn't there when I booked in January. The big one though is the charge they now have for luggage storage. £10 per item which was not listed on hotel website either when I booked. Extremely steep especially if you are arriving early and leaving late. WIFI was also very hit and miss. All in all a very disappointing stay"

"check in great i had a bad check in experience. bout 18 months ago when a jobs worth on reception said i needed photo ID??????? I pointed out I was a british subject & resident to no avail. I complained to radisson who said i would get a discount on my next stay. I never saw a discount and don’t care The positives Check in this time was great the check in Guy was very welcoming I think he’s name was mathew. I requested if he had a room at bank if hotel as it was less noisy he kindly obliged. through no fault of his own the room had little to no Wi fi the hotel offered to change rooms but I couldn’t be bothered to pack up my case to much fuss. Perhaps in future rooms with dud wifi should flag up on check in staffs screens to avoid. New dec rooms very nice comfortable although the hanging lighting the middle of the bed was very odd could be a hazard with people hitting there head on it. Otherwise nice looking room. "

"The hotel seemed nice and clean. Seemed. Then the next morning we woke up with ants all over the pillow, all over the curtains, and up the wall behind the pillow. I complained, but the manager just blamed the cleaning staff. Also there’s no sound proofing, so if someone gets back to the room next to you late, you are hearing EVERYTHING… The front of house staff were really nice, but that’s the only compliment I can give."

"Clean room but hairdryer in drawer at desk but not near the mirror. Bed creaked and sounded like it was break but they did fix it a bit. Shower was poor flooded bathroom. Bad design. Nice clean towels and lovely breakfast "
