"The Host changed the dates of the booking by a week without any notice 2 days before I checking in. The host ghosted me and did not change the dates back at all. Before he ghosted me, he was rude and sketchy. Do not book this room, you will get scammed. I thankfully caught the changes he made before the refund policy expired the next day. If I didn’t catch it, I would have been scammed a lot of money and would have gone to a trip with nowhere to stay. Stay away from this place"

"Location is fantastic close to the beach and one block from the downtown strip of Manhattan Beach. Hosts were very easy to get a hold and quick respond. The rooftop space is a really nice bonus area that we really enjoyed. Due to the age of the building, the walls are a little thin so you could hear the people upstairs but earplugs solve that problem, the unit itself has been recently upgraded and is lovely."

"The location was great. On-site parking was a huge plus. It’s listed as 2 bedroom and den but is essentially a three bedroom house. Lots of space. There was a pack-n-play in the upstairs closet which was a pleasant surprise. Friendly neighbors/felt very safe. A couple of small cleanliness issues and the front door lock needs to be repaired, but owner was aware/planning to fix. I’d definitely stay here again. "
