Hollywood’s modest neighbour, Burbank is where the real magic happens. This is where many of the movie industry’s biggest players are based.
Looking out over Burbank from Griffith Park, it’s hard to imagine that this humble city in the San Fernando Valley is the real “Media Capital of the World”. But it’s true. Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Walt Disney and Warner Bros all have their studios here. Major scenes for the likes of Casablanca and Bonnie & Clyde were shot in Burbank, and Olive Avenue famously featured in the western movie parody Blazing Saddles. Forget Hollywood, check out Burbank!
