"We booked two rooms for our family trip. To be honest, I didn’t read the Google reviews before making the reservation; if I had, I probably would have skipped this hotel. However, we got lucky: the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the view is wonderful. From our rooms, we can see the pier, and it is beautiful. The only downside is that the route from the reception to the rooms is a bit like a maze."

"The checkin was simple and easy, the parking was easy too. The staff were pleasant throughout the whole stay. Highly recommend as this property is close to a G-Link tram station as well as plenty of places to eat."

"Close to Pacific Fair, close to tram into Surfers, close to Oasis and eateries around the area as well as inside the property as well. It was so nice to come back to The Star to once again enjoy all the amenities and how easy it was to get to places in the area."
