"It's a very pleasant pub/hotel. Friendly staff. Extremely close to Highclere Castle. The food was excellent. The only negative aspect was the bathroom. The shower cabinet is very small and vert high up, making it very hard in and out safely. Also there are not enough power points in the room. Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay. Excellent Hotel, We Love To Visit.
"We have visited The Swan at Streatley 5+ times in total over the past few years. For us, as we live relatively locally, it's a nice place to get away and enjoy a night away from home. Cleanliness is superb, as you should expect, as is comfort. All rooms, whichever size, are brilliant. However, the ones near the stairs, such as 21 I believe, have some noise if people are heavy on the stairs. However not a reason not to say and I believe they're one of the cheapest rooms. The restaurant, run by Coppa Club, is brilliant. You can eat on the enclosed terrace all year round and the price isn't too extreme given the location. Don't love the 12% service charge to be honest but you have to pay this in lots of places these days, it is dicretionary. Lots of places to go and sit around the hotel to enjoy a drink or their new lounge menu. Ample parking too, never an issue and lots of nice walks nearby too. Hotel is also dog friendly. May start to sound like an advert but just a good review! Not being paid at all to write all this."
