Perfectly stunning

"Perfect hotel in a perfect location with the perfect staff and with the most stunning views. We could not ask for more, every detail to enhance your experience was catered for. The room ( double with terrace) was quite compact but superbly designed and extremely comfortable. The breakfast selection and quality was excellent and the service ( particularly Monika) was courteous and efficient. In fact from arrival to departure the interaction with the team far exceeded our expectations and was the best we have ever encountered. There is nothing negative to add about this stylish comfortable well managed hotel situated in the perfect location in Alfama . "

"This hotel was phenomenal. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of room sizing, prefer a queen bed for my husband and I, it was more than sufficient. The room was impeccably clean, and the amenities were also much appreciated (the heated towel rack was awesome). While we didn’t have a bottle of wine waiting upon arrival, the staff remedied this immediately and without any issue. Everyone from check-in, to the bar, to check-out, were nothing short of professional and pleasant. Although we didn't utilize the street parking outside, we did note there was some available (however as we traveled during the off season, I imagine this is quite congested during summer months). We visited the Turkish baths/pool for the reserved 45 minutes (25 euro per person), which sounds brief but honestly was a nice escape (the reservation is private and limited only to the room, not shared with other guests). The gym had all the essentials including treadmill, elliptical, and free weights, which we utilized daily. High marks all around for this beautiful hotel by the water, we will certainly be back."

"Great location, great price, lots of added security to get in, and clean rooms. I like the shared kitchen, especially the water dispenser from the fridge. I got the single bedroom, and it is spacious if sharing with another person. There is a TV equipped with local channels and streaming service you have to input. The area is on the hilly side, but not too difficult to access. A few things that I didn’t like were how thin the walls are in the room. Imagine trying to get sleep but you can hear the next room talking almost clearly with every shuffle and movement. Also the shower was hard to figure out, but took several trial and errors. Overall it was a great experience, and would definitely lodge here again. "
