"I loved the warm pool and the groomed jungle surrounding the buildings and pools. The buffet food was good though not spectacular. It was easy and kind of fun to take the shuttle trams to the beach and to restaurants. The show with the above head performers was in a building with no air conditioning and got too crowded and claustrophobic for me to stay til the end of the show."

"Hello, I would just like to say, Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness resort is amazing. The beach was beautiful and clear with a lot of wild life if you love snorkelling. I had the chance to swim with sea turtles, stingrays and a variety of different fishes. The One Man Orchestra played for us on the beach and truly did a great job. Boggles my mind how a man can play so many intrustments at once. The staff is so kind and joyful. They really ensure you have an amazing time, which they exceeded. We got the penthouse room with the jacuzzi on the rooftop all rooms have a jacuzzi on their balcony). It was such a relaxing time being able to just hang out on the roof during the evening. Being able to wake up and see a beautiful beach out your window made me grateful. The food was good and being able to eat at different restaurants without making a reservation was even better. You may have to wait but the wait time was no more than 10 minutes as there’s bars right by it to kill time. Snack bar is open 24 hours so it was really convenient to get whatever you wanted late night. The buffet had different selections for dinner which helped most resorts being repetitive. The resort it was is such a relaxing feel. They had yoga and meditation which we attended and got to start a beautiful and blessed day with Aram from meditation. Bringing light to our morning so it can be the brightest day you could have. I don’t know what else to say, besides, I highly recommend Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness."

"Property is good,rooms is 7 from 10,AC not enough makes cooling,not every where some of them,cleaning in the room is good bar is good some alcohol maybe pay extra money if you're not VIP customer.Beach near Akumal Hotel is good and quiet water especially it's good for small kids no waves."

"We stayed 5 days celebrating our anniversary. This place was amazing. The staff was incredible. It wasn't too crowded, the accommodations and grounds were top notch. There was an extensive variety of food options/ restaurants. There was so much built in entertainment. The ocean was beautiful and the staff did their best to sweep up the seaweed. We give the resort a 10 of 10 and will certainly return!"
