"A good sized room in an old SF hotel. Floors creak, to be expected. Only reason not a 5 overall it was a bit noisy, not their fault, it was traffic noise. I'd stay again but ask for a room away from the street."

"The first-floor bar/restaurant it gorgeous but it was closed when we were there, I think until sometime in mid- to late May. That was the only disappointment. We really enjoyed our stay there. Staff was super helpful with suggestions about food and places to go. Room was quiet and clean."

"Great value hotel in a very nice part of San Francisco. The biggest highlights are the location near the Golden Gate Bridge, the Cow Hollow neighborhood, and the easy included parking, which is a major plus in SF. The area feels safe, convenient, and close to a lot of things. The property itself is older, so don’t expect a modern luxury hotel, especially in the common areas. But the rooms are genuinely good, clean, nicely done, and seem recently renovated. The bathroom was also clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful, and overall the hotel was exactly as described. A few downsides: there is no breakfast, no microwave in the room, and the TV was not a smart TV. It can also get a bit noisy if your room faces the road because the windows are not very soundproof. Overall, I had no real concerns. If the price is reasonable and you want to stay in a good SF neighborhood with parking included, this is a very solid choice."

"The hotel is in an excellent position. The staff are welcoming and helpful. But the walls and floors are incredibly thin. We stayed on the second floor and each night at 10.45pm - which was when I assume the tenant on the floor directly above us arrived home - it sounded like a herd of elephants was moving around. I could hear everything from their footsteps, to the toilet flushing, the shower, the sliding door rumbling and even the bed squeaking as they moved around. Thank goodness they appeared to be alone or we would have heard every word of their conversation. Also, we booked a one bedroom suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. It had a refrigerator and a dining table but no crockery or cutlery, no means of preparing food. We could not understand why bother with a dining table! The shower was lovely and new and the water hot so we took the good with the bad and ended up enjoying our stay, even though sleep quality wasn’t the best."

"Staff was welcoming. It was a quiet stay with a comfortable bed which is what we wanted. The Front desk and Valet were very helpful. The restaurant was very good for breakfast and dinner options however a bit pricey."
