This resort had everything we needed for a family weekend getaway. The pool and huge spa were a hit with the kids as were the Octopus slide and jumping castle. What more do you need with kids for a weekend? The staff were very friendly and accommodating and although we didn't take advantage of the restaurant and bar it was great to have it there in case. Everything about this place was great. Smooth check-in and check-out process. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Walking distance to shopping centre (across the road), with dining options and the likes of Coles, bowling, Chinese & Thai cuisine, KFC. Few minutes drive to activities such as sand boarding, camel rides, go karting, aircraft museum and more. The main feature is by far the wrap around pool although the water temp is cool during winter. The spa and sauna made up for it though....

Port Stephens is one our favourite places, we've stayed at many places in the area over many years, from our recent stay, the Anchorage is by far the best. We stayed in room 102, it was lovely, modern, a beautiful bathroom and comfortable bed, but we discovered a slight problem. Loved the peace and quiet, the bird life and leafy grounds. The garden was well kept. The reception person was very helpful and welcoming. Instructions and rules of the park were easy to follow and everything was easy and organised when booking in to the villa we stayed in. We were in walking distance to restaurants and cafes and a short distance from the bowling club for food. We had a lovely couple of days and will try to return in the future. Thank you.

This was our first time staying at a Big 4/caravan park. We stayed in the Kentia cabin with our two year old. We were very pleasantly surprised by the facilities and all the activities for children and families. The cabin itself had plenty of room for us. Everything we needed in the kitchen for our stay. The room 303 is spacious, has a beautiful view, with a great balcony. The room was clean and welcoming with a lot of daylight. The spa was a bonus, that we were not aware when we booked the room. The staff was very friendly, and allowed us earlier check-in. They helped us (sent an IT specialist to our room) when we struggled to connect to free Wi Fi. Our stay was very pleasant and also a great value for money! We are looking forward to coming again, very soon!
