"Room old and smelly . Friendly staff. No restaurant / breakfast available, Close to town"

"Rundown,rubbish everywhere, first room offered smelt. Pool empty and rundown. At reception greeted by shuffling, man clad in a food stained singlet advertised photos were 10 years out of date and gave us false impression. We had paid online, but found another motel $20 cheaper which was clean, spacious. It was worth having to pay twice. "

"House and amenities were excellent. Mike, the host was easy to contact and deal with. We had a large group and with the pool, tennis court and open areas there was something for everyone."

"I would have stayed a week if I could have! More time to enjoy more cups of tea on the deck with the sound of birdsong and the gently flowing river below. This place is idyllic. Feels like the most secluded, peaceful place, but 5 minutes drive from the nearest pub or bakery. The owners were helpfully responsive to my email enquiry before our stay, but left us alone to enjoy the experience when we were there. The cottages are well away from the house and the garden is designed so that the cottages are fairly private from each other. "
