Change in booking service meant our reservation had not been received, however the staff on site did an amazing job in accommodating us. Room was simple but clean and tidy.

Overnight Saturday stay. Pub hotel accommodation is what it is. Bed linen fresh and clean. Rooms not air conditioned (missed that on the info). Bathroom facilities good. Staff very friendly and Saturday pub meal was adequate. If staying Saturday night be aware live band until 11:30pm. All in all a good stay and lovely location (Stroud) to wake up in.

Was great staying at the Hotel, we booked through Wotif and they failed to send the confirmation through to the Hotel, the manager was great , he called after we left to say that someone had cancelled so we got a room after all. Can't get better service than that

Very accommodating staff. At this stage I've had to stay 2 more nights than anticipated due to flooding in the area. Room is clean Bathroom is good. Food is absolutely delicious. Well done to all involved

I stayed every 2nd Saturday from September to December. Live music on Saturdays-good variety of music. Friendly people and great staff. Comfy beds. Very tasty food.

For a pub stay it was great. Nothing flash but it’s a country pub and after travelling all day it was a comfy bed with modernised facilities, and a clean room with friendly staff.

Excellent food and spacious outdoor areas for dining and drinking. Useful carpark. Typical country pub with small rooms - however the room was hot (being in the western side of the building) , and the facilities were a fair way away . The hotel was overpriced, being almost $100 per night, above the usual price for country pub rooms
