"We had a wonderful 2-night stay. The front desk staff member that checked us in was very friendly and personable. The room and bathroom were clean. The view from our room was spectacular. The location was away from all the craziness of Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf, and yet we had a cable car stop next door. Definitely staying here on my next trio to this beautiful city!"

I especially appreciated that it’s a small hotel with only a few rooms, located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The area felt safe, walkable, and very pleasant. I only wish I had been able to stay longer, but I will absolutely be booking again in the future."

"Awesome historical hotel centrally located just steps away from Union Square and Powell St. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Tne rooms comfortable and spacious. The only disadvantage is that the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or coffee shop. There is a little smell throughout the property. But in general we enjoyed our stay "
