"Hotel was great. We had to leave early morning due to sporting commitments and we asked for a continental breakfast to be supplied. Front desk said that was ok but nothing was left for us in the morning."

"Great sized room for the cost. Pool and gym on site as well. Unfortunately at 10:45pm on my stay the fire alarm was set off ffor an unknown reason. I made my way down to reception where other guests were but there was no direction or communication from staff. No idea what happened or why it was going off or if there was a legitimate fire threat present. The fire brigade came out to assess and deactivated the alarm and said it should be fine to return to rooms but again no idea what the incident was in the first place and I left early the next day to a job so had no communication with staff. Thought this could’ve been handled a little better as safety is important. Other than that, room was tidy, clean and central."

"It could be an excellent hotel (dining room, cosy corner, parking) but it desperately needs some upkeep! The carpet is worn. The walls needs painting, The skirting boards are made of carpet glued to the wall and these strips have fallen over. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Bathroom had lots of hairs (?) around the shower and on the wall. Very ikky. The cupboard is the weirdest of contraptions. Staff apologetic but ‘out of their hands’. Customers should boycott until repairs are carried out!"

"The description and reviews were misleading. Going by the pictures I assumed the river was closer to the park . Not mentioned that you have to drive to get there . How anyone can say it's peaceful when it is in the direct flight path of planes going over constantly . I was very underwhelmed ."

"Parking was right at the door, unfortunately so was everyone elses. Air conditioner worked but was extremely noisy, so we had to turn it off. The beds were too firm."

"Easy location just off the M1 motorway. Clean comfortable rooms (they do need a Reno). Fantastic resturant"
