"The Stables was a beautiful relaxing place to stay. All the thoughtful touches like the fresh herbs and yummy local produce in the fridge made it feel like home. You could watch the sun rise over the paddocks in the morning but walk into town for dinner in the evening. Perfect position. Thanks very much Ross & Anna."

This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything

The tent was amazing. Really clean and tidy. It had all the things we needed without having to go to the kitchen all the time. Fridge, microwave, kettle, espresso machine, plates, bowls, cups, coffee cups and wine glasses and plenty of cutlery. However the communal kitchen has everything you can possibly imagine and lots of it which is great! Lovely staff and a very well kept and clean area.

Fantastic little place, wish we'd been there longer than one night! Spotlessly clean, fresh and contemporary with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sensational view across to the bay, really peaceful at night. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Great stay! We only stayed for 1 night but from checkin and throughout the stay we were made to feel so welcome and that we were part of the family. The staff at reception, in the bar and the restaurant were so friendly and very helpful. As we were travelling for my birthday they even took the time to write a card and wish me happy birthday at reception. Room was comfortable and had a great view of the beach. Restaurant was nice but I would encourage a booking especially on Wednesday trivia...

The communication from Bicheno by the Bay was exceptional, making our check-in and checkout very simple (even considering we arrived after their reception had closed). We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's situated in a great location close to all the local attractions and facilities (like the IGA). They provided a map of the local area and recommendations for where to go.
We would happily stay here...

Quiet little motel at the end of town. Immaculately maintained gardens. Smaller size room but everything you need. Bathroom looks like it had just been renovated and rooms were freshly painted/carpet. Staff were very friendly.
