On arrival I found a note telling me that the air conditioner in my room didn’t work. It was cooler outside than it was in the room. An enterprising organisation would have organised a fan. However, that failure was just the start. The next morning the power was out to over half the units. Not only no lights or anything else – but no hot water either They claimed it was the power company and not the motel that was at fault. That was false – some of the units did have power so it can’t have been the power company. Power was eventually restored, but the delay completely disrupted my travel plans for the day.

After reading the description about rooms that included a small kitchen, we were disappointed to realize our studio did not. There was only a tiny fridge, nowhere to sit and eat our breakfast cereal. No way to wash dishes. The instructions said to leave the dirty items near the door for cleanup by staff. We left them inside the door thinking surely they wouldn’t want food scraps left outside. The dishes didn’t get cleaned. It was sub-minimal even by our frugal standards. We cannot recommend a return visit.
