"Lovely location. Could do with a little tidy up. Rooms are lovely but corridors carpets and paintwork in the coach house could do with a make over. Left over cigarette buts on outside of property together with leftover beer bottles!"

"I've stayed at the hotel multiple times and never had a problem until Wednesday 15th July. The building is obviously old so limited to what they can do, but second floors rooms in peak summer are like pizza ovens. The small ancient fan is not enough and I barely slept."

"Location is superb, 100 ft to Chippenham bus station, and leads than 10 minutes bistro from the train station. Room is spacious, so is the bathroom, big and renovated. Courtyard is nice. There is a leisure pool at site too. Huge parking lot at back. The buffet breakfast offered was full English style and truly great. Staffs were super friendly. "The staff are lovely, and the property and gardens are beautiful (although they’re not quite as new or updated as the photos make it seem). It’s more of a charming quiet calm hotel in the countryside. My only issue was that the carpet had tons of large stains on it, which was rather gross and I’d expect a hotel to have a vacuum cleaner that can take stains out of the carpet. Easily accessible to the old market town of Chipping Sodbury and the stunning village of Castle Combe which we did both.
