"I recently had a three-day convention at the Javits Center and chose Arlo, sight unseen and with no other recommendations from anyone I know. The location was terrific! Very short walk to Javits and Times Square/Broadway. While the room was NYC small, it was modern and clean. I was pleasantly surprised that I heard no noise given the proximity to the elevators and other rooms in what seemed to be a full hotel. Additionally, I was super happy to have the excellent coffee shop attached. The coffee and the service was great there, also. I will be back!"

"The AC kept switching off and three times out of five that I called the front desk, no one was sent to resolve it. In response, I got an empty apology and a comment that they hoped I would stay there again in the future. Absolutely not happening."

"You have to get in line for everything. They offer pre-checkin via Marriott App, you do it, get there and have to stand in line for 50 minutes. Wanna grab a coffee? 30m queue Wanna get the elevator? Wait 5 minutes. Drapes in the room did not close entirely, I heard the room next door snoring all night long. It's very well located but would definitely not stay here again."
