"We loved the location. Right in the middle of everything we needed & more. My mom uses a walker and the staff was very nice & helpful with her. Very clean & nice. Highly recommend!"

"The elevator service was simply inadequate. During our stay, we frequently had to wait several minutes to catch an elevator down to the lobby. There weren't enough elevators, sometimes one or more were out of service, and they were too small to accommodate all the hotel guests and their luggage. At least once, some of us, frustrated that we couldn't get an elevator to take us down to the elevator, pressed the "up" button, went up to the top floor, and then stayed on the elevator to get down to the lobby. A second complaint: There weren't enough electrical outlets in the room. There were two outlets by the bedside table, but one wasn't working. There seemed to be another outlet behind a massive piece of furniture. My travel companion and I had to charge our laptops in the bathroom."

"My first problems seemed to belong more to Expedia than to the hotel. I was booked & charged for 2 persons in the room (my name had been entered twice) & they could not correct it. Secondly I was charged, acc to Expedia two different prices for my 2 nights there— again, Expedia would not assist despite my 3 calls to them. Riu plaza room was small but lovely. It had all needed amenities & was mostly satisfactory. My only difficulties were with a frequent sandpaper rubbing kind of noise at all hours, which I suspect was because my room was next to the Pumping Room. Lastly I found that no matter how careful I was, water leaked after both showers, into the foyer of the room, which I used towels to clean up. In a less expensive room, I would not have considered this a problem but for prices at Riu, I was surprised. Other than those issues, the room was very good. "

"We had the room for only 1 night, arrived late and needed to leave the next morning early. The morning of checkout we realized the shower did not work. The shower did not have a drain plug. Also the iron stand was falling off the wall. For the price we paid, this was especially disappointing. We did not have type to correct the issue with the shower and had to leave. Very sub par compared to the Hyatt regency we stayed at the 2 nights previously"

"We loved the Arlo's location—it was perfect for exploring Manhattan, from Midtown and the Upper East Side to SoHo. The hotel has a great vibe, and we especially appreciated the well-equipped gym, which made it easy to keep up with our workout routine while traveling. During our six-day stay, we had breakfast at the hotel once but weren't particularly impressed. That said, the staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our visit. The bar and adjacent coffee shop were both excellent and incredibly convenient. While we wished the rooms were a bit more spacious, the overall experience was very positive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
