The staff from bag check, to check in and housekeeping were very attentive and friendly. For me this is most important when away from home and in a place like NYC. Like many hotels these days, Soho is a pet friendly hotel. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to dogs, cats, birds....when I booked the hotel ...
Really wish the room service menu and restaurant menu had same list of items. You can get a cheeseburger and beer on room service, but only beer in restaurant.
This was a really cool hotel to stay in. Great location - really central to everywhere I wanted to go. The staff were super friendly and helpful. My room was lovely - I was able to watch the most amazing sunrises both morning. Love all the glass in the room! I would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel in a great part of NYC, SoHo. Only recommendation is to extend the time for wine in the lobby to more than one hour.
Cozy, boutique feel, thoughtful attention to details that matter when traveling, and staff that are committed to guests having an enjoyable stay.
SoHo - Tribeca is an urban neighbourhood that's popular for its restaurants and cafés. The neighbourhood's friendly people and skyline are just a couple of its charming qualities. The museums and theatres add a sense of refinement, while the historic sites and other landmarks offer local lore. American Numismatic Society, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, and New York City Fire Museum feature a variety of exhibits. You can check out the local talent at PC Richard & Son Theater, The Flea Theater, and Manhattan Children's Theatre. NYFD Hook and Ladder #8, Harrison Street Houses, and E. V. Haughwout Building are well-known local landmarks. Be sure to get some family photos at Chelsea Piers, Liberty Science Center, and NBC Studios.
Many visitors like to do some shopping while in town, but there are a number of other activities. You can take some time to enjoy the outdoors at Soho Square, Canal Park, and Washington Market Park. Surround yourself with nature at Rat Rock, Audubon Center, and Salt Marsh Nature Center. For retail therapy, consider Mott Street, Wing Fat Shopping Mall, and Century21 Department Store, and seek out the perfect souvenir. You won't be disappointed visiting other sights like HERE, City Winery, or Pier 25 Mini-Golf.
Some of the area's most popular sights are New York University, Brooklyn Bridge, and Empire State Building. You can also stop by American Fine Arts Gallery, Drawing Center, and Visionaire Gallery.
If you want to get around the city, Canal St. Station is the closest metro stop. Others nearby include Canal St. Station and Franklin St. Station.
