I get to the location, and try to check in, the clerk was calling me somebody else’s name corrected three times, she caught a attitude. We get passed that I get checked goto the room and I swear I’m bait n switch lol. I even took a video. I paid for a suite with semi windows n and a balcony, to see the city. I get to the room, no balcony, the sink was dirty n the faucet wasn’t working (meaning turn the both knobs and no water came out) and I was given a full size bed. The room was supposed to have all these feature and a Queen size bed at least as per the room description. I’m a 6’3-4 US Navy servicemen visiting, how uncomfortable do you think I was with the amount of money I paid for the room. So I called FD, same clerk answered, I expressed the issues, she sucked her teeth an put me hold, 5 minutes passed, I hear a click then some voicemail comes up. So I hang up and call FD again clerk answers, I distinctly hear “ it’s him” then some lady who is “Manager on Duty” answers and askes, “who you book with because my clerk didn’t make any mistakes!” So I explained as per the representative I talked to previously with Expedia and you establishments clerk I had these amenities.... I expressed to her my dismay and she apparently wanted to not hear me out “ well there’s no more rooms with balcony.”
I won’t say race played a factor I will just say your company should learn the value of your customer let alone a military service man..... I did not make a fuss, just took a video.
