"We stayed here one night because we were cruising the next day out of the Port of San Diego. Hotel is older and showing its age a bit. Rooms are very large. Location is great for port and Embarcadero area. "

The good: -A large portion of the grounds are beautifully landscaped. -The front desk staff are wonderful overall. -The beds and linens are nice, which is tough to maintain at a beach hotel. The not so good: -This hotel is NOISY: -I expected the road noise from Mission Bay Drive, which was very notable from 7-10pm most nights. What I didn't expect was the noise from the resort staff, -"

"We enjoyed the location and the quiet of the area. This was one of the smallest and least appealing bathrooms I've encountered in a while though and there was a small hole in one wall and stains on the walls. Housekeeping did not clean our room well at any point and didn't always leave enough towels for the number of guests in the room. It was alright for the price but overrated on Expedia. More of a 7.0-7.5 out of 10 for us."
