Life really is a beach in Ocean Beach. After establishing one of the country’s first leash-free dog beaches, OB went on to give every type of beachgoer its own little haven. Some beaches are lined with grassy picnic areas, while others have shops and cafés. The San Diego Fishing Pier stands out with its rock pools. The OB Farmers Market on Wednesdays and the Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-off in summer keep foodies happy.
