With a secluded sunbathing beach, swimming-only beach, special surf beach, volleyball beach and dog beach, San Diego’s “OB” sure takes beaches seriously.

Life really is a beach in Ocean Beach. After establishing one of the country’s first leash-free dog beaches, OB went on to give every type of beachgoer its own little haven. Some beaches are lined with grassy picnic areas, while others have shops and cafés. The San Diego Fishing Pier stands out with its rock pools. The OB Farmers Market on Wednesdays and the Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-off in summer keep foodies happy.

"Overall an okay experience.. they did LIE to me at check in. The lady told me it was $150 for parking (we stayed 3 nights) so $50 a night and then $150 for accidental or damage. I just checked my account and I was charged $250 not sure why?? The ice machine wasn’t working and the elevator was a mess ..."
