"We had a good stay overall. The rooms were clean, and we had a great time with family. The biggest downside was definitely the amount of seaweed. It was absolutely awful and really ruined our beach time. There were mountains of seaweed, so the only time we could really enjoy ourselves was at the pool. I would have appreciated a heads up about the beach conditions, because we ended up paying for a catamaran tour just to visit another beach. I expected to spend most of our time at the all inclusive resort, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The food was okay, but we were not the biggest fans of the Mexican buffet. I definitely think that restaurant could improve the taste and quality of the food. Another thing I didn’t love was the check in experience. When we arrived, we were just pointed in the direction of our room instead of someone helping us or giving clearer instructions, so we had to figure it out on our own. Overall, we enjoyed our family time and the rooms were clean, but the seaweed and a few service details really affected the experience. The staff was excellent. Thank you for our stay."

"AMAZING family friendly experience from start to finish Our stay at Paradisus Playa del Carmen – Riviera Maya - All Inclusive was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived everything looked exactly like the pictures and in many ways even better in person. The property was beautiful well maintained and very welcoming for families. The rooms were clean spacious and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping service was excellent. Our room was cleaned each morning and in the evening staff returned to turn down the beds and prepare the room for a relaxing night which made the experience feel extra special. This resort is also very kid friendly with so many activities and options to keep children entertained throughout the day. There was always something for them to do which made it easy for the adults to relax and truly enjoy the vacation as well. The pools, beach, water park, dining options, and overall atmosphere were excellent. Everything felt organized, welcoming, and easy to enjoy. A special thank you to Samanya for going above and beyond with our dinner reservations and thoughtful surprises for our kids and anniversary. She truly made our stay unforgettable. We also appreciate Miguel for his constant help and kindness throughout our visit. Overall, this was an amazing vacation for adults and kids. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this resort for a beautiful, clean, and welcoming all inclusive experience. The Springs Family"

"This was a beautiful resort! The grounds are gorgeous and very well kept. The entire staff was great and very attentive. The pools were fun, bars were all very good and we enjoyed all the restaurants. With a group of 10 we were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get reservations. The entertainment was better than the last 3 resorts we’ve been to. We had a wonderful time and will return in the future!"

"The staff were amazing -- Melanie, Erik and Andres for entertainment were fantastic. Veni for service was wonderful. Carlos best bartender. Aaron was an amazing concierge. We had a great stay. My biggest complaint was the gym. Every lower body machine was broken and folks have said its like this for many months. Also NEED air conditioning in Azure restaurant. It was so uncomfortable in there. Otherwise great time. "

"To start off with, I received several emails from the hotel before I got there but not one of them said the pool was closed for repairs for the entire time I was there. They did offer access to the other hotels they own, but that is inconvenient when you want to just go to the pool and back to your room. Secondly, the all inclusive is not truly that… it’s all inclusive as long as you ONLY order what’s on the menu.. if you’re eating at the Mexican restaurant and you want guacamole with your dinner, you have to pay extra for that $11. All of the better cuts of meat and the better alcohols are extra too. Breakfast is the only buffet that they have other than that you have to order us a menu. I will say the staff were very friendly and flexible about issues. My check-in was very quick. That was also nice. "

"✅ THE GOOD The property was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and while the shower pressure was just okay, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The evening shows were entertaining and a nice way to wind down. The drinks were fine, nothing special. The Italian restaurant was by far our favourite. The location is a major plus. You're just a short walk from 5th Avenue, which is vibrant and perfect for an evening stroll. ❌ THE NOT-SO-GOOD The food at the main buffet and most restaurants left something to be desired. The menu caters heavily to an American palate, which may or may not suit you. The Italian restaurant was the clear exception. The biggest thing to know before booking: THERE IS NO BEACH. The waterfront is rocky, and if a sandy beach is on your must-have list, look elsewhere. Pool chairs are another frustration. Guests stake their claim before 8am, and the staff does nothing to enforce a fair-use policy. Good luck getting a lounger if you sleep in. The resort's vibe feels more like a retirement community. If you're looking for a lively, energetic resort vibe, this likely isn't your spot. Bottom line: Great if you want a clean, relaxed base near 5th Avenue. Not great if you want a beach, a variety of delicious food, or a more dynamic atmosphere."
