"Affordable hotel with great staff but the air conditioning stopped working every night and they would fix it. Gated parking felt safe. They don't provide conditioner and the soap was not great. Cleanliness could be improved."

"While the Hotel was great there are a couple of things to consider.
1 - this hotel has only one pool and there is loud house type music playing all day, if you like a quiet time at the pool this isn’t for you.
2. There is a lack of sun-beds and although they had signs saying no reserving nobody took any notice.
3. Although it is a small hotel they allow day visitors so the pool area gets very busy.
4. The hotel advertises 3 restaurants and the rooftop snack bar but some nights there would only be 1 restaurant open and others only 2. There was never a time when you had a choice from all 3 restaurants.
This being said we had a great time, the food and drinks were good and the access to 5th avenue and all the bars and restaurants was excellent."

"Simple, clean room with excellent temperature control. It took a bit of time for hot water to reach our room but we didn’t mind that. A refrigerator in our room would have been an appreciated bonus.
We were a bit disappointed with the included breakfast as we have had more choices at other hotels but it was definitely enough food. The restaurant was only open for breakfast, though. It would have been nice if we could have bought lunch and/or drinks there when we were having pool days.
The pool needs a bit of work but it was also clean and we did enjoy it.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
This property could be rated even higher with minimal work. We would definitely visit again. The location is great! Far enough away from the craziness of downtown but close to fabulous places to eat and shop at. Just a short walk to the beach, too. "
