This is my first ever hotel review, it needed one. By far the worst place i’ve ever stayed at in my life, was absolutely shocking. Police raiding a room whilst we were checking in should of warned us. 7 nights of hell, shady drug users everywhere. Don’t expect to sleep if you book - shouting, screaming, doors slamming all night, we resorted to putting a bottle on the door handle of a night it was that bad. We saw the police there on night 2 and asked what was the deal, he said to me ‘yeah you’ve picked a rough one, you won’t last the week mate’ says it all really. Felt like a junkies hostel, never been so sleep deprived in my life. Do not book this hotel, I promise you’ll regret. Rooms were also disgusting & dirty, wasn’t cleaned once even though we paid a ‘cleaning fee’. Waited until I got my security deposit back before I left this. Do your research people, I wish I did. Ghetto living

Think twice be for booking here
The staff were very friendly couldnt do enough for us but someone damaged our car (caught on their security camera) we reported it to the police and management, and because the person was under age they did not submitt the footage,also came into our room while we were not there did not replace the towels or the tea & sugar,but left a tin of oven cleaner on the table ( the room did not have an oven) wil never stay there again ( cant afford any more damage to our car)one more complaint ,the ajoining rooms had very noisey neighbours,they also did not proceed with the bond payment until a week after our departure i give this place 1star( not because of the office staff)but because of the incedents that happened

I could honestly say that the experience was very bad. Not a place to stay if you want a peaceful night’s rest and even less if you have kids. Went in and turned around immediately to book alternative accommodation for the night.

Noisy. No double glazing so heaps of traffic noise as right on busy intersection at traffic lights. Windows facing busy road are locked with 2 inches open to provide ventilation- can’t close window fully to block out noise , can’t open fully to get more air inside. Poor ventilation inside apartment. Sole elevator slow & fire escape door broken so stair alternative unusable . Other room users play music loud all night, had a brawl & kicked door above us , swearing, crashing around . No onsite all night staff around to deal with these overnight issues. Some previous guests belongings still in wardrobe on our arrival. Old style spring mattresses- rock hard. Light summer linen on beds when it was winter and night temp 4 degrees. No compendium in room to advise of cooktop instructions/ night manager for emergencies/ reception contact. No landline phone in room to ring reception. Smoking area on non smoking floor so corridors stank. Could be a great place if someone cared about these issues & booted out trash behaviour by employing night guard & thus defended respectful paying guest families.

The guy behind the counter was nice, but there was a seemen/sperm stain on the inside of the doona, NOT happy. I did not sleep in the bed after pulling back the covers to find that!!! Eeuww.

Everything was filthy. Cups in the cupboard turned up side down after people had finished drinking a coffee. Cups were dirty with coffee and rings on the cupboard bench from the cups demister they weren't even washed. Also only 2 bowls, 3 plates and 3 glasses for a room for 4 people. Hard to eat a cooked meal sharing a plate. Fighting in the middle of the night. Yelling and doors slamming in the middle of the night. The smell of cigarette smoke everywhere, including in our room. Rubbish in the hall ways. Stuff spilt all over the floor of the lift and the carpet. Is say this place is maybe 1.5 stars now.

Great location, roomy self contained units clean and modern everything you need for short or long stay kitchenette ,washer ,dryer . Staff friendly, accomadating and helpful. I will stay again and recommend highly. Thankyou for a lovely stay

It was okay. Plenty of room and comfort etc but a bit old school in the sense of the tv is only digital tv no access to Netflix. The fire alarm went off at 2.45am and it was false alarm but then my daughter wouldn’t go back to sleep and we had cold water no hot water to shower in. Parking was good and safe. Got along really well with staff and they did us a huge favour by letting us park our car there while we went to the wiggles. And have us a early check in

There were cockroachs all through the room. The air-conditioner wasn't working and the toilet was blocked. The kettle had something growing in it and it was a room for 4 people but there was only 2 pieces of all the cutlery and crockery. We were very disappointed.

The bench wasn’t wiped, floors were dirty, mouldy bath mat, sheets weren’t clean, A blanket over the stained lounges, there were drug addicts roaming the hallways all night and people fighting in the car park, barely got any sleep, told the guy on check out that I wasn’t happy and he didn’t seem to care!

DO NOT STAY HERE! IT'S FILTHY!
My stay was a last minute decision due to my mum being hospitalized. As soon as I got there i knew it was not going to be a good experience. There were drunk and disorderly people everywhere and kids running wild. I made it to my room eventually after having to call the manger to find the night entrance. police arrived shortly after and again throughout the night. the place was ABSOLUTLEY FILTHY! I have pictures and videos to prove it. had to return to my car to get somethings and had my partner on the phone whilst doing it. I was packing myself. I was ready to leave and make the drive home which was over an hour away but knew I had to be back at the hospital early in the morning. Pillows in the cases had yellow stains and blood stains. Two different mattresses and bases used to make a double bed and the mattresses were filthy. The toilet wall had old smeared feaces and the toilet brush set was revolting. Shower was rusty and mouldy and had not been cleaned. Carpets were badly stained. Couch was covered by some throw rugs and were very badly stain underneath. it did not even look like they had attempted to clean them EVER! Windows had no safety screens. There was a power point behind the bed I slept in and it was hanging out of the wall with exposed wires. Was supposed to be a non smoking room and were burn marks everywhere. TV worked but were probably 2 out 50 channels that worked remote was missing the backing. I could go on but am about to run out of space for my rant!

Very disappointed with my stay at Perth City Apartment Hotel. Money was taken from my credit card which was never refunded. Not to be trusted - be careful if using credit card.

We were in a 4th storey room with 2x children (aged 4 and 6), the sliding windows were easily opened, unable to be locked and had no screens. It was very hot when we arrived late, and we wished to open the windows but the kids could've easily leaned out and fallen.

We booked the two bedroom apartment for the three of us (My husband and I, and my mother) at very short notice when my father was suddenly hospitalised for emergency surgery at Royal Perth Hospital while the 4 of use were on holidays in WA. The apartment was neat, clean, simple, comfortable, and perfect for us. Having laundry facilities (washer, dryer and clothes horse) in the apartment itself was so very helpful. We found the manager (Eddie) very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs and enquiries. We stayed 5 nights while my father recovered after surgery, and my husband even got a chance to relax in the pool. The location was excellent for the Green and Yellow Cat (free buses) into Perth city, and there was a nice little Thai restaurant a few doors down too. Parking was also easy. All of us would certainly stay there again, and would certainly recommend it to others.

Clean, friendly affordable stay in good location
Comfortable, clean, good location for shopping. Free city transport close by or a nice walk into the city. Reception staff super friendly & helpful. Parking easy & cheap. Pool area nice & clean. Can be a little noisy with traffic & internal hotel noises. Could do with heavier blinds on the windows. Overall this hotel met our needs for an affordable family stay in the city & I would recommend it to others.

Good location with bus stop outside building. Spacious rooms. Tap dripped all night in bathroom. Told staff next morning and on our 3rd night still hadn’t been fixed. Tap fell off shower. Not sure if I would stop here again.

Convenient position. Very basic accommodation but good beds. Only 1 towel for 2 people, but more were supplied on request. Two lamps didn't work. Noisy garbage chute outside window woke us at night. Noisy guests and doors slamming at all hours.
