"Make sure you read the Dragonfly Ranch website, it tells you everything you need to know. A place for free spirits, earth-based spirituality, and nonconformists in general who want a real Hawaiin experience far from the canned fun in Kona. The Lomilomi Suite was spectacular. The whole place is open air, no AC, and the nights are cool and breezy at elevation. Close to great snorkeling and restaurants. Hosts are very chill, made us a wonderful breakfast buffet, and told us the best beaches to check out. The place has a lot of character. Postcolonial vibe, and the Balinese winged Dewi Sri hanging over our bed brought us peace at night"

There wasn't a need to leave We loved the grocery store 25 minutes away, and the fruit basket provided by the hosts was AMAZING. I would rank this as my favorite vrbo experience to date and I gave had other wonderful experiences."

"We absolutely loved this ocean home. Some of our most treasured memories were on the lovely lounge chairs looking out to the sunset with a glass of wine. The house had everything we needed for the beach. Didn’t need to bring a thing. Loved the outdoor master shower and decorative details throughout the home. We enjoyed our time at the black pebble beach in front of the home. Had so much fun in the water and listening to the water. Whatever we needed the host was right on top of it quickly. We will definitely be back when our travels take us to the Big Island. Just a note when heading to the home from the airport: Make sure to stop at the grocery and pick up all the groceries you might need."

"I loved this property's outdoor living design! Most of the rooms, including bathroom and kitchen are open with views unobstructed by windows or even screens. You should realize that means that your bathroom and kitchen are open on a tropical island so you might have to shoo out an insect or two. The little lizards are super cute, but will give you a start when it's hiding on the drawer handle you are about to use. The rain is so awesome when it falls against the metal roof. Couldn't get enough of the lovely view of the bay where Captain Cook met his demise! Thanks Gus, for being an accomodating host!"

"We had a great time here. The only thing that bothered us was no air conditioner. We sweat quite a bit and it's so warm and humid all the time that it's difficult to cool off. It would have been nice to have a small unit in one room that we could cool off in the afternoons. The deck around the house is amazing with beautiful views of sunset at dinner. Loved being so close to the ocean. Did not like the 10 min drive to leave the neighborhood. Cheryl is a great host and communicates very well. The house has a lot of room and everything you need except food."
