"Beautiful spot very peaceful, comfortable bed plenty of kitchen items, spices to cook with. The only thing I would have wanted was more time to enjoy it. "

"We spent a glorious 10 days in this little "Tree House" to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The room and environs were very clean, LaRissa, the Caretaker was very helpful, we loved the outdoor kitchen and having a washer and dryer. The constant visits from the beautiful little geckos outside and lovely birds with their distinct calls, and the incredible view were all fabulous. For us, the location was ideal, very quiet, near the City of Refuge, coffee and chocolate farms. Loved the rural environment. We will definitely be returning next April."

"Breakfast was wonderful! Don’t be in a hurry! I was leary when I arrived in the dark…but fell in love with the place in the daylight! It was a great adventure! No glass windows…only screens. The frogs were loud…but slept so good! If you like noise machines, you will love it! The bedroom had a fan if needed. They had beach equipment to borrow if wanted. A wonderful snorkeling spot was next to the National Park…just a few miles from the Dragonfly Ranch. The ocean view was amazing! Barbara (and her staff) was a great hostess! "

"Second time we have been to this home and we love it. Just fans and the ocean breeze to cool you so if you are in need of AC and someone to carry your bags go stay @ the Hilton. Personally we like the home for all of its imperfections as much as the guardian Geckos that appear to be watching you from every angle."

"A very homey and hospitable BnB. We had a very comfortable room with a big lanai and an ocean view over the gardens. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. The farm animals, birds and the owners dogs were gentle company. The property is very private but on the main belt road and convenient to both sides of the island. Plenty of good local restaurants, shops, markets and historic sites and beaches."

"The site is paradise. We arrived to a tour of the facilities. The host was gracious, and thorough. The buildings were spotless. The kitchen was well appointed. The star of the show, though, was the pool and hot tub which was used every afternoon by adults and children who had great fun. "

"This home exceeded all of our expectations! Our host Gregg was very accommodating and even met us at the house to welcome us to his beautiful custom home. The house is very well-stocked and nicely furnished. Its location can’t be beat. We were able to enjoy sunsets from the deck; barbecue; swim & snorkel at the beach in front of the house; hike two coastal trails; and travel easily from the house to Volcano National Park. The outdoor shower was an added bonus. We’ve stayed at a number of rental homes and this one is at the top of our list. "

"Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Beautiful patio with swimming and snorkeling down below. Saw dolphins every morning. Peaceful and private away from the congested parts of the area. Ample room, great laundry facilities, wifi, and a smart tv. Tankless water heater so plenty of hot water for showers. You’ll be sad to leave once your trip is over. 10/10! "
