Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore - Palm Cove Hotels

Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore

1 Veivers Road, Palm Cove - Map
"A wonderfully relaxing place to stay"
We spent four days in the Alamanda in a 2 bedroom suite as part of a family reunion. The suite was spacious, comfortable. clean and surprisingly well-equipped - it felt more like a home than a hotel. The location is superb - right on the beach and backing on to a creek (sadly we never saw the crocodile that was reputed to live there!). And the facilities (three pools, including one for adults only) were all we could wish for.

Pullman Palm Cove Sea Temple Resort and Spa

5 Triton Street, Palm Cove - Map
"Beautiful hotel. Staff need to be more helpful."
Staff unsure of how to book the Kuranda Train. Out of all the staff only one member (male) was extremely helpful with local public transport and places to go. Alot of children at this hotel so if you are not a fan i would stay somewhere else. The hotel needs an urgent change of their pool side menu. Needs to reflect the menu at other Pullman Resorts such as the one in Legian Bali. They do not have the staple items such as a club sandwich or traditional steak sandwich. Need pool side service. Showers need better heads that actually spray down and in one direction. Apart from the above the hotel was excellent.

good hotel with good facilities, close to beach. Breakfast buffet is not the best, you are better off to go to one of the many great coffee shops on the esplanade.

The Reef Retreat

10-14 Harpa Street, Palm Cove - Map
Stayed here for four nights, the staff were extremely, extremely helpful and friendly. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub but it was pretty dated and probably not worth it, would prefer a regular shower. Kitchenette with 2 burner stove, microwave, toaster, and plates/cutlery was helpful for eating small meals in to save money. Pretty nice location, close to cafes and the beach but no views of the water.

Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, is another top attractions for tourists visiting this part of town. The park offers you an opportunity to see firsthand the enormous reptiles native to this region.

The tropical climate of Palm Cove is among the main draws to the dreamy coastal destination. Rather than experiencing four separate seasons, this region offers only two different periods as far as atmospheric conditions are concerned. Temperatures during this time of year tend to stay south of 33 degrees Celsius, while winter weather generally hovers in the relaxing 14-to-26 degree range. Even the coldest nights in Palm Cove are still relatively warm and rarely require extra layers for outdoor excursions.
