"The property was very clean, cosy and comfortable and the safe, dog-friendly garden was beautiful. There were thoughtful and helpful welcome items, including milk and bottled water. The host communicated details well before our arrival and the location of the cottage is convenient for exploring the New Forest."

"Was a lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the area. We drove to Lymington for the Saturday market and sea front walk and also walked from the cottage to Milford on sea for coastal walks. Lots of pubs and cafes in the area and a village shop just up the road.The cottage was very well stocked with everything we could need in the kitchen with some thoughtful touches such as blankets for if the evenings were cold. We was lucky with the weather and sat out in the back garden in the late afternoon/early evening sun. The cottage was also very clean on arrival with a fabulous well maintained garden, a home from home.Would highly recommend a stay at this cottage."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Mill. Good location as we were planning to catch the ferry from Lymington. Nice gardens. Very helpful staff especially Yan who was knowledgeable about the wines. Very comfortable bed and evening meals were delicious. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay"

"The biggest issue was how freakishly hot the hotel and our room was. It was a mild April day yet our room, even with the windows open stayed very very hot. No air con either. Super uncomfortable + stuffy and did not sleep well as a result. Strange given dog centric hotel. Except for that it’s an ideal hotel if wanting a break away with your 4 legged friend. The secure enclosure at the back was super handy. Much thought goes into making the stay comfortable for your pet. "

"Great base for a holiday in Hampshire, the lodge has everything you need, has a beautiful location on the holiday site and is very clean and nicely presented. Christchurch, Lymington, Avon Beach Bournemouth were all just a short drive away. Park passes to the gym and swimming pool were a nice touch. A heads up though when you read the Lodge information when they say the fan heater is a bluetooth speaker they do actually mean the fan heater in the lounge and not the portable fan in the bedroom, which I spent a good few mins trying to play my music through. D'oh!!! Luckily we had the weather on our side and so enjoyed a lovely pre-Easter break."
